Event Details

The Band Together event takes place at W.O. Smith Music School located at 1125 8th Avenue South. The event will start with cocktails from 7 - 8:15 PM, and be followed by an evening of duets from many of Music City's best artists, performing originals and stripped-down interpretations of classic love songs. The event is limited to only 200 tickets that can be purchased here. NOTE: There are no paper tickets for this event. Your name will be at Will Call on the night of the event.General Admission tickets are $50 each. VIP tickets are $125 and include reserved seating, open bar from 7 - 10 PM, and limited edition poster. Buy Tickets



Kidsville At The Parthenon

Thank you to all who attended our very first Kidsville At The Parthenon event on Saturday, January 10! Over 120 children and parents gathered at the feet of Athena to hear the stories of Pygmalion, Frosty, and Olaf, as well as make their very own clay snowmen! Special thanks to our guest Mick The Moose from Mix 92.9 for dropping by!

2 cups of Baking Soda
1 cup of Corn Starch
1 1/2 cups of Cold Water
a few drops of Peppermint Extract
Iridescent Glitter

Submit Your Centennial Park Holiday Memories

Announcing our Centennial Park Holiday Photo Contest!
Submit Holiday Photos & Memories to us from now until December 17th to win a photography session in Centennial Park with professional photographer Juan Pont Lezica!

The contest: The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park and The Tennessean ask you to submit photos of holiday moments in Centennial Park as part of our photo contest.

How to enter: Now through Dec. 17, share your holiday and winter scenes in the park - whether they are memories or current images that capture the essence of the season. Photos should be emailed to Use the subject line "Centennial Park holiday photo contest." Recommended photo size is at least 170 dpi at 6x8 inches in a jpeg format. Photo submission rules can be found on

What you can win: The winner will receive a photography session in Centennial Park with professional photographer Juan Pont Lezica, who has done portraits of many prominent Nashvillians, including Demetria Kalodimos and Eddie George.

Three finalists will be announced on Dec.19. Online voting will be open to the public on through 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 22.

"Flex It! My Body My Temple" Exhibit at The Parthenon until Jan. 10th

Adrienne Outlaw's "Flex It! My Body My Temple" is the largest exhibit of socially engaged artwork presented in the South, and its at the Parthenon until January 10th. The exhibit, in and around the Parthenon in Centennial Park, invites a gathering place to learn healthy habits and prevent obesity.

The exhibit extends outside of the museum and encourages Nashville to "Flex It!" Read more about the exhibit and the artist in this article from Nashville Scene.
